I know as a business owner, I have been. I am a part of so many networking groups, some are too big, some are too small, some have no activity, and some you have to fight to be heard. Local networking is great but extremely expensive and time consuming!
Another business owner friend of mine were chatting about ways to grow our online exposure, as both of our businesses are run primarily on the internet. Then it dawned on me that we could form our own business networking group for online business owners. If you have a website, blog, or business online and are trying to grow your exposure and visibility online, then this networking group is for you. This networking group is not for brick and mortar locations unless you have an online presence as well.
Our group will meet biweekly for chat and networking. Only one of each business may be represented in this group. For now, the group will be free but there will be a fee as we work out the kinks on how to make this group more effective for its members.
If you are interested, please send me an email outlining your business and how a networking group could benefit you. (Just enter 0 in the budget area.) Tell me about your previous networking experiences! What worked in the group? What didn't work?
